Supplemental Information: State’s fact sheet says the ICC is designated pursuant to section 1(a)(ii)(A) of Executive Order 14203, and that the United States has previously imposed sanctions on 17 persons under that order. As a result, and subject to applicable licenses and exceptions, all property and interests in property of the ICC that are in the United States or in the possession or control of U.S. persons are blocked and must be reported to OFAC. The ICC is the permanent, treaty-based international criminal court created by the Rome Statute, which entered into force on 1 July 2002, the same date as the Organization Established Date in the listing. The Statute sets the Court’s seat at The Hague, in the Netherlands, which is the city in the listed address.
